General instructions for adding a secondary mailbox to the Outlook desktop client (Windows)
Procedure
1) From Outlook (Desktop Client) select the 'File' Tab at the top of the window:
2) Click on the 'Account Settings' button, and again on the'Account Settings' option that appears
3) Click on the 'Change...' button
4) Click on the 'More Settings' Button
5) Select the 'Advanced' Tab, then the 'Add..' Button
6) Enter the name of the mailbox you'd like to add. (newmailbox@cobleskill.edu)
7) Click 'OK', etc to return to your mailbox.
The Mailbox will appear on the left had side of your outlook. Please note it will take time for all emails to download.
To REMOVE an additional mailbox from your Microsoft Outlook services, follow the steps above and on STEP 5 select the mailbox and click REMOVE.
If you are unable to see your new mailbox or if you have problems accessing the new mailbox, please note any error messages you receive and contact the HelpDesk (x5800) for additional assistance.
