Overview

Appointment Summary Reports allow you to document information pertaining to a specific student appointment, whether the appointment was scheduled, a drop-in, or the student was a no-show. This feature is used by care units. There is also a quick note option which can be used by everyone.

Instructions

PLEASE NOTE: All notes fall under FOIL - If you would not say it to the student, do not put it in a note!

You can create an Appointment Summary Report from a students profile if you are in Care Unit in Navigate:

  1. Open the students profile
  2. Select Report on Appointment from the panel on the right. This creates an Appointment Summary Report and adds that appointment to your calendar for record.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. The fields on the left side of this screen are required with the exception of "Courses" and fields on the right can be filled out as neededUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

If you are not in a care unit, you can take quick notes instead of using the official appointment summaries:

  1. Open the students profile
  2. Select Add a note on this student from the panel on the right.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  4. Please note that the visibility options are as follows:
    1. If you do not check any box, it will be visible to all faculty and staff
    2. If you check the student, it will be visible to faculty/staff and the student
    3. If you check yourself, only you can see it.
