The State University of New York (SUNY) has partnered with Google to provide free access to AI learning opportunities for all SUNY students, faculty, and staff. Through this initiative, members of the SUNY community can explore practical, easy-to-follow online courses on artificial intelligence and how it can be applied in everyday work, study, and research.

AI Essentials – An introduction to how AI works, where it can be useful, and how to use it responsibly.

Prompting Essentials – Practical guidance on communicating effectively with AI tools to get better results.
Both courses are hosted on Coursera and can be accessed at no cost with a SUNY email address.
