Email Delivery - We Are Listening and Giving You Control

Body

Greetings SUNY Cobleskill,

We understand that finding the right balance between easy-to-use technology and security can be tricky. The feedback we have received has been instrumental in guiding us towards improving both your productivity and our institution’s safety. With your freedom in mind, we're excited to announce a new change designed to give you more control over the emails you receive.

In our ongoing efforts to empower you, we're introducing a new feature that lets you decide which emails to keep and which to block. This means that instead of automatically blocking or quarantining emails deemed irrelevant, spammy, or potentially harmful, you'll now have the freedom to review these messages and decide their fate.

Each person will be given access to a personal quarantine inbox that can be accessed at any time using this link - > security.microsoft.com/quarantine, or you can expect a notification from ITS Cyber Security indicating emails that have been quarantined and access the quarantine inbox from there. You will have full access to review and manage these emails as you see fit. For a step-by-step guide on how this works, we've prepared a detailed Knowledge Base Article https://cobleskill.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/277/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=11028.

Starting 03/18/2024 we will be slowly enrolling this feature by departments over the course of the next few months, this will provide a window for feedback and time to work on kinks that we encounter along the deployment process. We're eager for you to try it out and enjoy the added flexibility and control over your inbox.

We believe this change will enhance your email experience, ensuring that important messages reach you with minimal delay, while still keeping our digital environment secure. As always, we're here to support you, so if you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for being a vital part of our community. Here's to a safer, more connected future!
