SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech is deeply committed to fostering a campus culture where inquiry, innovation, and hands-on learning thrive. To assist in achieving this goal, the Faculty - Student Research Support Grant, provided by SUNY through incremental state funding, supports collaborative projects that engage students directly in the research process, strengthen faculty scholarship, and advance the applied learning priorities central to our institution. This funding will provide support for faculty and students who are starting new research or expanding upon current research projects and will help ensure that SUNY Cobleskill continues to provide meaningful, real-world learning that prepares our students to lead, innovate, and contribute to their fields and communities and that our faculty benefit from expanded opportunities to advance disciplinary knowledge and integrate research into their teaching.
Preference will be given to projects that align with the SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech strategic plan and provide opportunities for student research, interdisciplinary study, faculty scholarship, including publications and/or presentations at conferences and have the potential for external grant funding.
