Overview
The SUNY Cobleskill Wellness Center Pharmacy Program provides students with convenient access to many commonly prescribed and over-the-counter medications directly through the Wellness Center. Students enrolled in the program can receive eligible medications during their appointment without needing to visit an external pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Program is available beginning Fall 2026 and costs $30 per semester.
What Is the Pharmacy Program?
For a fee of $30 per semester, enrolled students have access to a variety of commonly prescribed and over-the-counter medications directly through the Wellness Center.
Select over the counter medications are also available at the front desk for those enrolled in the pharmacy program

The Pharmacy Program was created to make it easier for students to access medications when they need them. By receiving medications directly from the Wellness Center, students can begin treatment more quickly and avoid unnecessary trips to an outside pharmacy.

How the Program Works
Schedule an appointment with the Wellness Center to discuss your symptoms and treatment options with one of our healthcare providers. If medication is recommended as part of your treatment plan and is included in the Wellness Center Pharmacy Program, it may be dispensed during your visit before you leave.

Not all medications are appropriate for every patient. Medication selection is determined by a healthcare provider based on clinical evaluation and medical need.
Availability:
Medication inventory may change throughout the semester. Certain medications may not always be available for immediate dispensing.

Do I need to visit a pharmacy?
If your provider prescribes a medication included in the Pharmacy Program and it is available, you may receive it directly from the Wellness Center during your visit.
Can prescriptions from external providers be filled?
No. Only medications prescribed by Wellness Center providers can be filled.
Are all medications available through the program?
No. Medication availability depends on clinical appropriateness and current inventory at the Wellness Center.
Will my insurance be billed?
No. Medications dispensed through the Pharmacy Program are provided directly through the Wellness Center and are not billed to insurance.
