Adobe Acrobat Pro DC | Electronic Signature Password/PIN

In the event that users are unable to electronically sign due to a lack of a Password or PIN, they may need to delete the signature file associated with their account.

 

This signature file is located in the following path with a Personal Information Exchange (.pie) file that is likely related to their username.

C:\Users\Kosmaa353\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security

 

Once deleted, have the user create a new signature using the following steps:

  1. Select Edit towards the top
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Signatures on the Categories column
  4. Under "Identities & Trusted Certificates", select More
  5. Towards the upper left, click the ID icon and proceed with creating a new signature (ensure this is made through the Windows Certificate Store to bypass the password)
