To maintain the integrity of our campus computers, SUNY Cobleskill has implemented a global group policy (GPO) to ensure that user data is stored only in the network account designated user profile container. Our Windows 10 computer GPO prevents users from saving folders and files on the system root location (C:\). This policy is to protect the computer system drive and ensure that user files are located in their profile container for easy access.
