Lighting Control Panels

In Bouck Theater, you will find light control panels at each of the four house doors and the two doors backstage. Pressing a button once activates the lighting preset assigned to it, and pressing it again deactivates/releases the same preset. Multiple presets can be activated at once and may override each other by pressing multiple buttons in sequence.

The light control panels located by each door look like this:

These control panels allow you to adjust the house lights as needed.

You can choose:

Creston Touch Panels

To wake up a Crestron touch panel, tap the screen once. Tap on the "Touch Screen to Begin" block to go to the Home page. If the date and time do not appear on this initial screen, the panel has lost connection to the control processor. In such a case, please contact the ITS Service Desk for a technician to be dispatched.

After you have unlocked the screen, you can select from either a HDMI source, a VGA source, or the AirMedia source. Doing so will highlight the selected input and trigger the startup sequence where the projector is turned on and the screen is lowered. Selecting Aux HDMI will display content from a computer connected to one of the HDMI cables at the podium, and the system will automatically detemine which HDMI cable you have used. Selecting Aux VGA will display content from a computer connected to the VGA cable at the podium. Selecting AirMedia will show a screen with a URL or IP address to download the utility that enables devices to display content over the network, as well as a code to authenticate with when starting a display session. If AirMedia is selected and there is not a device connected, the Fighting Tiger Logo will be projected on the screen.

To end the session completely and shutdown the system: tap the Crestron touch panel once if in sleep mode, then tap the System Off button at the lower-left side of the screen. The projector will turn off, the screen will go up, and audio will be muted. If you mistakenly pressed the System Off button, you have five seconds to hit the Cancel button before the system performs the shutdown sequence.

Microphones

On the podium, there is a built-in gooseneck microphone for speaking while standing directly behind the podium. There are also wireless handheld and earpiece microphones inside the podium on a shelf. Each wireless microphone will be housed inside of a bag with a label on it. Rechargable AA batteries can be found in a charger within the podium.
