Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2024

Body

To celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness month and our ongoing efforts to safeguard sensitive information and enhance our collective digital security, we’re excited to announce three key cybersecurity initiatives rolling out over the coming weeks. These initiatives aim to bolster our cybersecurity awareness and resilience; your participation is vital to their success.

Why This Matters: Cybersecurity is not just an IT issue; it’s a shared responsibility that impacts all of us. Whether you're a student, faculty member, or staff, your everyday actions help protect our campus’s digital environment. With these initiatives, we hope to make it easier for everyone to stay informed, vigilant, and proactive in securing our online community.

Coming Soon:

1. Simulated Phishing Campaign

This initiative is designed to educate and empower you to spot phishing attempts and avoid potential threats. It’s not a test, but a learning opportunity for all of us. By participating, you’ll help strengthen our defenses against real-world phishing attacks and enhance our campus’s overall cybersecurity posture.

To get credit for reporting the simulated phishing emails you need to report the emails using the KnowBe4 Phish Alert button for more information please see the Service Desk Knowledge base article below:
