What Is It?

This security incident reporting service provides a centralized way to report any security concerns that may affect the institution’s information systems, data, or physical technology assets. 

This service is intended to be used to ensure that all types of security incidents are promptly reported, assessed, and addressed by the Information Security Office (ISO). Timely reporting helps minimize risk, prevent data loss, and protect institutional resources.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

This service is intended to be used by anyone that has a cobleskill account and can access this service request form 

Examples of What to Report

The following are examples of incidents or events that can and should be reported regardless of the severity; if you are unsure if something should be reported, always report it.

  • suspicious persons physically accessing IT Technology assets
  • unsolicited phone calls asking for sensitive information
  • suspicious programs installed on state device
  • Lost/Stolen device
