Office Moves & Relocation Requests

Before filing a request for office relocation, requesters must obtain approval from their supervisor. Once approved, the requester and/or their supervisor must inform Human Resources, Facilities, and also file a service request ticket with ITS (done here)

  • Employees:

    • Approval from Supervisor
    • File service request with ITS
    • Pack personal and non-technical items.
    • Label all items clearly with their name and new office location.
  • Department Heads:

    • Approve/Deny office move requests.
    • Ensure their department is prepared for the move.
  • ITS Department:

    • Approve and schedule office moves.
    • Coordinate the disconnection, transport, and reconnection of technology and equipment.
    • Provide post-move support.
  • Facilities:

    • Assist with the physical move and setup of office furniture and other non-technical equipment.
  • Human Resources:

    • Ensure that the move complies with organizational policies and address any personnel-related concerns.
